We won a runner up prize in phase 2 of NASA's MarsXR competition!

We're "Team ROGUE", and we managed to win a prize for our phase 1 storyboard and a runner up prize in phase 2. I'm really pleased about the phase 2 prize as this involved writing a working scenario in Unreal Engine using NASA's XOSS application.

There are 272 teams distributed worldwide comprising 3,700 competitors and 10 phase 2 prizes.
Making a working scenario using the NASA XOSS Mission Control software and Unreal Blueprints was not an easy task. This is a video of how our final scenario, "Dusty Crater", played out:
You can read more about the story of how we designed this scenario at the following link: [Phase2]
It did take an awful lot of work to get to this stage, so it's really good to pick up a prize for all our effort over the summer. Just after the names of the winners and teams were published on the HeroX website last week, this further update came out:
"The NASA team is currently working on implementing these winning submissions so that you can test them out yourself in the XOSS editor. Please check back for updates on when those are available!" - https://www.herox.com/MarsXR/updates
That's exciting! We get to see our own scenario in XOSS and we get to play everybody else's! I feel a VR gaming party getting planned for when this is released!
OK, I guess it's back to the day job of building and flying drones until MarsXR3 happens, hopefully next year?
